Michael has studied abstract painting, pastel and figure drawing at the Art Center in St. Petersburg and has taken private instruction in pastel..

His work was selected for the All Florida Juried Fine Art Exhibition in St. Petersburg in September of 2001. He won  the  award for the edgiest art in 2009 at the ‘Off The Wall” show at Suntan Art Center. He has exhibited through TESA, Ruth Eckerd Hall, the Clearwater Lexus Dealership, the Main Post Office in St. Petersburg and the Arts Center at St. Petersburg. Michael  has also shown at Hospice, Art Space, Hall of Frame, the Largo Cultural Center, the TESA showing at Raymond James, , Safety Harbor Library, the Galleries at Salt Creek, Suntan Art Center and the Safety Harbor Spa.
